In accordance with International Law, Forced migration” is practiced by governments, paramilitary groups or radical groups towards racial, religious or sectarian groups in the purpose of evacuating a specific area and substitute it with other group.
According to international law, the fact that the Syrian regime has forcefully migrated Darya’s people from their own city satisfies all the elements of a crime that it aims at changing the demography of Damascus Suburb’s people and this should be condemned by the International Community.
So, forced migration” is practiced by governments, paramilitary groups or radical groups towards racial, religious or sectarian groups in the purpose of evacuating a specific area and substitute it with other group.
This is supported with articles “Second, Seventh and Eighth” of Rome Statute system. Accordingly, forced migration is considered as a war crime.

This crime puts a commitment on the International community to use all means of pressure on the Syrian regime to let Darya’s people back to their city with guarantees to be protected and prevent the recurrence such in another area in Syria.

The International community‘s silence towards such crimes and violations committed by the Syrian regime evacuates international laws and conventions’ values out and motivate the Syrian regime to commit even more brutal and savage crime for Syrian people.
